Members transferring into The Junior League of Austin will have one League year to fulfill the following obligations (Transfer Fee, Annual Dues and Cookbook Obligation) to finalize your Transfer. According to our General Policies, a transfer must be completed within one League year of receipt of the transfer, and if not completed within one League year the transferring member will be dropped from membership with the approval of the Board of Directors.

PROVISIONAL TRANSFERS
Provisional members transferring into The Junior League of Austin must complete their transfers (including payment of dues and submission of any required forms within one League year from the actual transfer date) based on the following schedule:

To be part of the current Provisional Program, your transfer must be completed no later than October 31st of the same year..

If your transfer is completed after October 31st, you will automatically be enrolled in the Provisional Program the following League year. You will be welcome to attend all meetings, participate in all events, and receive all League communications.

ACTIVE TRANSFERS
Active members transferring into The Junior League of Austin must complete their transfers (financial obligations, including payment of dues within one League year from your actual transfer date) based on the following schedule:

The Junior League of Austin offers a Transfer Course placement to incoming Active members, which you may join either in the Fall or in the Spring.  Transfers who elect to begin the course in the Fall will have the entire League year (September through May) to meet their course requirements, while those joining in the Spring will need to complete their course requirements during the months of January through May.  It is at the member’s discretion as to whether they begin their Transfer Course in the Fall or in the Spring.  Please note: Transfers who wish to join the course in the Fall need to be enrolled by July 31st, while Spring Transfers need to be enrolled by December 31st.

You will be welcome to attend all meetings, participate in all events, and receive all League communications. You will also have the opportunity to immediately enroll in an open placement if you’d like to get right to work!

SUSTAINING & EMERITUS TRANSFERS
Sustaining and Emeritus transfers must be completed within one League year. Once your transfer is complete, you will be eligible to join the Sustainers and review a list of our groups. You will be welcome to attend all meetings, participate in all events, and receive all League communications.
