Welcome to The Junior League of Austin, the largest women’s service organization in Austin! Whether you are a member, prospective member, donor, or friend, we appreciate your interest in supporting women changing communities. The JLA is celebrating its 91st year in Austin! Our mission to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community engagement through volunteer action, collaboration, and training has never been more vital.

With over 2,400 members, The JLA is an incredible volunteer workforce, sending funds and trained volunteers to over 20 non-profit Central Texas organizations, and operating our own award-winning signature impact programs: Coats for Kids, Food In Tummies, and Kids In Cool Shoes. Funding for our work comes from dedicated members, generous donors, long-standing fundraisers, and Community Impact Center event space.

We invite you to mark your calendars for our 49th A Christmas Affair, Christmas In Bloom, taking place November 20-24, 2024 at Palmer Events Center, and our 9th annual Austin Entertains taking place on March 6, 2025 at The Community Impact Center.

To learn more about the JLA’s work in the Austin community, please read our 2024 Impact Report which includes highlights from the past year, including:

• The distribution of nearly 31,000 coats to children in Central Texas through Coats for Kids and our partnership with 185 schools
• Providing 2,845 pairs of socks and shoes to children at Title I schools in Austin
• Delivering more than 34,000 backpacks of nutritious food to combat weekend hunger and gifting 100 Thanksgiving turkeys to children at Baty and Hillcrest Elementary Schools
