Our local community makes Coats for Kids a success every year. We couldn’t distribute over 30,000 coats each year without our community volunteers!

You can volunteer your time by helping to sort, organize, and shop the thousands of winter coats donated for distribution. Your time is critical to our ultimate goal of keeping Central Texas children warm this winter.

Make a difference by prepping donated coats for distribution to children!

• Dec. 2 through Dec. 11, 2024 is sorting and shopping week at The Junior League of Austin’s Community Impact Center (located at 5330 Bluffstone Lane, Austin, Texas, 78759). 
• On Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2024, volunteer shifts open to the public for signup.
• Volunteers MUST be 18 years old for all non-youth designated volunteer opportunities.
• If you have a child at least 8 years old who would like to volunteer, you can register your family, troop, or group for a Coats for Kids Youth Sorting opportunity.
